Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for the role of the character Detective Diane Russell. Kim Delaney has been renowned as the Detective Diane Russell in ABC's series NYPD Blue. Also, she was a part of the drama show All My Children Philly, CSI: Miami, and Army Wives. Delaney was born the only girl of her mother who was a homemaker and senior executive from the United Auto Workers. Delaney lived most of her life with her four brothers. She dreamed of becoming a court reporter during childhood but started modelling while in high school eventually garnering commercials when she moved to New York. Her first film role was as a teenager on All My Children, a soap-opera from 1981. Since then, Delaney has been featured in many film and television dramas. She has not had a satisfying or happy life in her personal. The skilled actor had to battle alcoholism, as well as two marriages that failed. In 2005 her custody was removed from her.
