Louisa Krause was born in New York City. Her most well-known role is being the main character of Anna Garner in the television series The Girl Experience . Krause studied drama in college and then appeared in numerous off-Broadway productions while also playing in episodes of New York-based network television shows. The family of her father is half-Japanese origin and her mother is American. Nathaniel is her older brother. He is younger than her and is a film maker. Her interest for the arts early in her age when she began studying dance at the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C. Once she was in high school, dance became less of a priority when she began to perform in Henry Kriegers and Bill Russell's various musicals and plays including Side Show as Violet Hilton. Krause attended at the Carnegie Mellon Drama School after graduation from high school. Shortly after Krause decided she was able to embark on her acting career professionally. Krause earned her Equity certificate by appearing in a musical-based production of Aida. Louisa Krause got her start with the stage. Her first production was with the Huntington Theatre Company produced her in the year 2006. She played Iphigenia In the production of Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 from 2007.
